“I worked in a government office handling child and family welfare cases for over 14 years. As a former client of the same agency — survivor of child abuse and domestic violence — I took my work seriously and with deep compassion. Over the years, I endured two separate rounds of extreme workplace abuse under two different supervisors.
The first began when I professionally corrected a colleague’s misuse of a vehicle. That colleague’s relative, my supervisor, retaliated with relentless bullying. Though I was a model employee, the situation escalated — false write-ups, sabotaged work, and social isolation. Her family members held positions across the department, granting her untouchable influence. Despite multiple requests, my transfer was denied. Leadership protected her instead.
The second incident was worse — premeditated and coordinated by leadership to remove me. I was assigned to a notoriously abusive supervisor with deep personal connections in upper management. Within the first week, the harassment began: I was stalked, my work sabotaged, and I was falsely accused of insubordination. I was physically cornered, locked in rooms, and threatened. My desk became a prison — I wasn’t allowed to speak to coworkers, was given overwhelming workloads without fair compensation, and was ostracized entirely.
I was pressured to sign a waiver excusing all misconduct in exchange for silence and the erasure of my claims.
Even when I documented everything, involved medical professionals, and retained legal support, my pleas were ignored. My supervisors and upper management violated laws, policies, and my basic rights. They denied my ADA accommodations, blocked my FMLA, and even tried to invalidate police reports and restrict me from naming those responsible — while placing me on probation for what I didn’t do.
They operated like an organized machine — intimidation, falsified investigations, and judicial interference. I was pressured to sign a waiver excusing all misconduct in exchange for silence and the erasure of my claims.
The stress destroyed my health — I lost hair, developed PTSD, and was hospitalized after a breakdown. I was placed on suicide watch. My requests for protection were ignored; even colleagues who voiced concern were disregarded.
This system protects abusers and silences truth-tellers. It is driven by nepotism, religious and political ties, and a toxic culture of retaliation. Staff are treated like disposable servants, while those in power operate without accountability. The agency continues to be exposed in the media for unethical and criminal actions — but change never comes.”
